Last night I went to a Ball…
Yes, a real Ball with my prince charming…
There were 30 wonderful princesses, twinkling lights & flowers…so many flowers.
The Ball was in honor of 30 young women who tirelessly volunteered at 26 different philanthropies for 6 years.
Together they logged over 21,000 hours in service to others. This night was to acknowledge & honor their service & accomplishments.
It is through our chapter of the National Charity League that these volunteer opportunities are made available.
I am proud to be a part of the NCL in my area and to have been a small part of last evening.
My daughters will have their balls in 2018 & 2021. Last night, at the very snazzy Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, we celebrated the class of 2013.
Friends of mine, who are two of the loveliest ladies in town, chaired the ball.
The renowned local florist, Jacob Maarse, artfully designed the spectacular florals. I thought you would really enjoy seeing these lush arrangements & displays of flora- bundance!
The flowers, while so very very lovely, are only a hint of the loveliness of all the young ladies. Each in her own way will make the world a better place for all of us. Of this, I am sure.
Here’s to the Class of 2013 for all they have done & all they will do.
May they ‘Bloom & Grow Forever’…
