I know you all had a gloriously magical and romantic Valentine’s Day, so this post is just for a laugh. …BUT, if by chance or happenstance you found yourself staring (maybe glaring) into the unwitting and befuddled eyes of your mate yesterday, you will relate and do take solace ~ you are NOT alone. Even Zooey Deschanel, who is as sweet as a truffle and deserving of a proper Valentine, has apparently suffered this fate. So whatever the recent past brought you, enjoy this little diddy …and if February 14, 2013 wasn’t ALL you’d hoped for alas, Valentine’s Day can be any day. I now tell my partner not to book on Valentine’s day – just so stressful and he never does it early enough so now I just insist on two stanzas of a poem! Hope you had a lovely day x
Oh I did…a poem how wonderful…wanna share it?! My husband thinks musical cards say it the best…yes, I said MUSICAL cards. This year’s plays “It Had to be YOU” and the hearts on the inside light up….if u can, imagine this without cringing too much. He thinks they are such a hoot and tries to out do himself each year. I have to say it is quite funny & romantic, in its own way ( we had a lovely dinner out too with lots of delicious wine…)
