It feels like Christmas time at My Soulful Home!
It has been such an exciting week already & there is more to come!
Monday we kicked off the Getting Creative at Home Tour ~ 24 blogs ~ 24 projects in 5 days! I am amazed & inspired daily by the creativity of my tour mates. And, even better, I feel like I have 23 new friends.
Tuesday Barb from The Everyday Home & I announced the winner of our very “berry” special give away. I am so pleased to say that this special prize went to a very special lady, Mary Alice Patterson of Chateau Chic. Mary Alice has been a loyal reader of my blog from the get go, so I was particularly tickled when her name appeared as the winner! Congratulations Mary Alice!!
Wednesday was my day to bring my best project to the Getting Creative at Home. I chose my “indoor couch to outdoor sensational transformation” aka the make my red couch “green” project. I am happy to report that it was a big hit! On Wednesday, I also learned that my house tour was one of the most viewed at The Everyday Home’s link party!
Today, Thursday, I am letting you know about two more exciting happenings:
Firstly, I will be guest posting at My Re-Purposed Life tomorrow. My post has a Christmas feel to it for sure. If you don’t know Gail, the author of My Re-Purposed Life, do yourself a favor and get acquainted! Gail is a true DIY maven. She will wow you, inspire you & make you want to follow her every move as she gives new life to all she sees. I will be re-purposing an item you can buy now into something you will want to display later on…that’s all I can say. Check out My Re-Purposed Life on Friday to see what I have up my sleeve.
Secondly, I was asked to curate my first pinterest board for Hometalk! Yikes I am so excited!! You know I adore Hometalk. I am looking forward to working on my board. When it is up and running I will let you know. So if you have any projects you want to post to Hometalk do so asap. Maybe your post will be just what I am looking for to add to my board.
Needless to say, it has been a fantastic week here at My Soulful Home. I hope you are having a wonderful week too!
Let me know something good that happened to you this week. Not an eventful week for you? Hey, waking up everyday is a good thing in my book! Don’t you think?
Here’s to today, tomorrow & all the possibilities to come!
