Front Porch Blog Tour – Fall Decor

Welcome!  I’d invite you right in, but we are touring porches this week.  So let’s have a look about outside…

5 Fall Ideas & Projects

I had so much fun getting ready for this Fall Porch Tour!  As I mentioned before, my house has a season & it is Autumn.

The oranges, golds & greens carry through from outside to in during this time of year.

5 Fall Ideas & Projects

If my neighbors didn’t think I was nutty about my house before ( or just plain nutty ) they do now.

One dog walker even stopped to watch me move pumpkins an inch this way, then another an inch that way.

What do you think of the gold spray painted ones?  (Ever since I spray painted that pineapple gold I haven’t had a can of the stuff out of reach!)

Let’s go closer to the door.

More decorations are tucked in here on the wall & bench.

Oh, and I made the wreath this morning.

I had a wreath all ready for the tour, but then I stumbled upon this printed burlap & had to make this one.

Here’s to pumpkins, sweaters, boots, cider & the beautiful colors of fall.

Hope you enjoyed your visit here!

Kelly – your fall front porch is beautiful. I love the gold pumpkins mixed in with the traditional orange. I had people looking at me sideways too when I was photographing and tweaking my porch for fall. Great job!

Thx Tammy! You can make that wreath. I used Laura @ Top This Top That’s tutorial. I am going to do a post on it. I wrestled with it a bit, but once I go in the groove it was easy!

    Hi Kelly,
Your front porch is so beautiful. I have really been admiring your arched front door with that vine growing over the brick arch. Do you mind telling me what kind of vine it is and if it stays green during the winter? I have really been thinking about adding a vine over our entry but I’d really like something that will have leaves on it year round! And I must say you are very good at creating last minute wreaths!

Thanks Jane! It is a “purple vine” It has the loveliest trumpet shaped flowers that the hummingbirds love. It stays green here in California all year long. Check out my garden tour post there you can see pictures of it in bloom. It is a nice vine…not invasive or over powering like some can be. As for the wreath…I was feeling the time crunch, but was glad I got up extra early to make it! Thanks again for visiting & your comment/question.
