This week here was kinda like that children’s book “If you give a Pig a Pancake”. (isn’t that pig the cutest ever?!)
It went like this…
If you give Kelly an exciting opportunity – she will ask for a new camera to make the most of it.
I got a new camera. Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day & Arbor Day to me. (cameras are expensive!)
If you give Ava an invitation to a dance – she will need a new dress & shoes…and earrings. (teenagers are expensive!)
If you give Lara the costume she ordered for Halloween – she will decide to be something else! (anybody want to be Red Riding Hood?)
Lots going on & Halloween only one week away. So drop those tp roll Christmas ornaments & let’s focus on the holiday at hand!
Here are some easy Halloween ideas – ’cause if you give a crafter a holiday she will make something!
These Oreo Witch Hats are so darling. You can really use any dark cookie & embellishment. Just need the chocolate kisses for sure. A chocolate wafer cookie & white piping would be super cute too. Make them your own dearie! (cackle cackle….)
Have you ever Boo’ed your neighbors?
How about these Mummy Pumpkins for a simple Halloween craft. Faux or real pumpkin, gauze & googley eyes. Can even make this one with the kiddos after trick or treating whilst they work off the sugar buzz!
Or light up the night with a Mummy Candle.
Try this Halloween repurpose. It tastes like an apple, but looks like a pumpkin in just a few steps.
Love this idea for TP Roll Halloween Crackers, as you know I have been hoarding empty rolls. Easy to make & fun to open. Great for a class party treat & at home.
The thought of eating a spider is not appealing, but once you get over that (it is Halloween after all & kids will love eating spiders! ) these are delightful treats.
Spider Cakes can be made from scratch & what not, but Halloween is a busy day. So you may want to grab a box of chocolate cake mix or even some pre-made chocolate muffins.
You can attach a chocolate Kiss with icing for the head and use pokky sticks, black licorice or even squirtable chocolate sauce on the plate to create the legs. Make it easy – make it your own!
I need to keep everything else easy this week ’cause I have to read my camera owner’s manual cover to cover.
