You had to see this post coming…
I was so tickled & surprised by the response to my jean Pant Leg to Wine Bag Repurpose. Made me almost want to give all our wine away in my fab bags ~ almost that is…
Now that it is holiday party season – a time for hostess gifts galore, how could I resist a holiday version of my bags?
Well my friends, I couldn’t!
Been on the hunt for red jeans at my local thrifts since that project proved to be a hit. And I found the prefect pair – kids skinnys.
So here you have it – them – Pant Leg to Wine Bag Holiday Style!
The directions are the same as before…super easy.
Cut 15 inches from the bottom for an average size wine bottle.
You will use the original pant bottom as the top.
The opening should be 6 inches wide, so use skinny legged pants when you can. If your pants are wider simply run a seam to make the opening the right size.
Click thru here for a few more details on the project.
This takes about 10 minutes tops to make & as long as you like embellishing.
I wanted a touch of green so I tied on one of my scrubber pad Christmas tree tags ~ another repurpose!
I put together my holiday repurposes all in one spot for making, pinning or referencing when you have a bit more time on your hands.

Hope you can find an old pair of jeans & 10 minutes to whip up a set of these to bring to your holiday parties.
I brought one just last night. Nestled inside was a wonderful bottle of balsamic vinegar ( not just for wine! ).
What is your favorite hostess gift to bring along?
