Finishing touches sometimes take a while.
You really can’t rush a bohemian vintage vibe ~ that kinda feeling evolves over time or takes time scouring flea markets, estate sales & getting crafty.
While the big things set the tone.
It is the little things that make a room speak, give it life. Those little details need to be chosen carefully.
We were flattered, Lara & me, that so many of you have inquired about the state of her room re-do.
So today here is the room reveal…lavender, lovely, bohemian, vintage with a dash of mod.
What do you think?
Tell us your favorite thing in the room.
Lara’s is the vintage hankie banner made by my friend Danalyn.
Mine is, of course, Lara Louisa!

I love the scalloped mirror and the thought of Lara smiling at herself each day as she prepares to begin a new adventure! Wish I could be looking back at her, oh what wonders to come!

Lara’s room is one that any girl would only dream of…filled with so many beautiful treasures. Love the gorgeous furniture. I love everything about the room, but if I had to pick a favorite, it would have to be the hankie banner! Beautiful job Kelly and Lara too!
Fabulous room! I’m in love with all the vintage touches. I think the round mirror is my favorite but it’s really hard to choose. It came together perfectly!
Love it, Kelly! It’s so pretty and feminine! I’m sure your daughter is in love with her room!
AWESOME! I love it! Thanks for sharing! Also wanted to remind you about the “Found & Foraged” linky party tomorrow (Saturday) at 8pm. Can’t wait to party with you at http://www.houseofhipsters.com
What a beautiful room with so many fun and creative touches. Love that gorgeous mirror and the wall color is so pretty!
Thank you for linking this up at the Found & Foraged party!! I so love how you pieced this together over time and it’s such a unique space. Hope to see you again next week! xo, Laura 🙂
Thanks so much for stopping by Laura! Your party is terrific – I like the vibe. I will be back!
What a sweet room…I love everything about it!!
I love the whole room! I’m just about to make over my tweenage boys room! I just wish I had a girly girl that would appreciate a room like that. Gorgeous! Love the mirror, bed/head board and little touches like the old classic books. I have lots of little things like pretty scarves, very very old beautifully decorated cups and saucers (my great great grandmothers) crochet table covers from my Grandmother who sadly passed last year. I just need to figure out how to display them xo
