The only thing that distracts me from my garden in March is the smell of my Irish Soda Bread wafting from the oven.
If you haven’t tired it you really must – read the comments – I am not the only one who LOVES it.
Bottom line: my great grandma’s recipe rocks!

Oh, my, goodness, Kelly ! I just made a batch of your Great Grandmothers Irish Soda Bread and it is delicious!!! I can’t stop myself from having another piece! Absolutely the best I’ve ever had and im part Irish! I also made a Marmalade Butter to go with it, and it was like a slice of heaven! Thank you so much for sharing such a wonderful recipe! I think ill have another piece! Oh, it looks like Hubby is having another piece too!
Connie put down that third slice & email me your marmalade butter recipe. The the thought of that combo is making me weak in the knees! And with a strong cup of black tea – or a nice buttery Chardonnay! This bread goes day to night ! Glad you are enjoying g it! ☘️
I LOVE this soda bread!! I have been making it since my mother in law sent me your recipe! My 6 year old and I love making it together and sometimes we even put chocolate chips in it! We also add a glaze of powdered sugar and water on top! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe! 🙂
