A short but busy week, same by you I bet.
Lots of projects planned for the weekend. Then on Wednesday I head to Atlanta for my first ever blog conference. I am soooo excited!
This week we had lots of red white & blue…let’s review:
The tea stained flags.
The patriotic webbing wine bag.
The 4th decor.
I received a wonderful email yesterday that really made me happy. Gloria, our winner of the Sawdust City handmade sign give away, sent me a beautiful email & photo of the sign she won.
Gloria let her daughter Lucy choose & have the sign. She sent a photo of it hanging in Lucy’s screened porch. I am touched that Gloria wanted to share with us how beautiful the sign looks.
There are so many wonderful people in the world & lots of them keep turning up here at MSH. Thank you Gloria & Lucy you made my day!
Speaking of making, I made about 100 meatballs on Tuesday there are about 19 left today. I made that many so my crew would have them to eat while I’m gone. Should have hid them in the freezer!
I told you these are the best meatballs in the world. I am not sure you believed me, but I do not make such proclamations without evidence. (remember I was a lawyer). The evidence is my picky eater asks for “thirds” when these are on the menu.
You don’t even need to make the sauce, although it is wonderful. They are delicious with tomato sauce or even plain. Try them!
Speaking of tomatoes….I guest posted over at Lovely Greens this week. I talked about growing tomatoes.
Do you grow your own? You should really. Couldn’t be easier and the taste is so superior to store bought. Follow my advice for a beautiful, bountiful crop.
Our Pinterest Board of Interest this week is Farmer’s Market curated by Rebecca McMurtrey. Here is one of my favorite pins from there ~ the answer is never!
Lots of projects lined up for the next few days. Then I need pack. I am a good packer. I travel light & usually end up with what I need. But this trip, I am not sure what to bring.
I will be meeting virtual friends for the first time in person, going to blogging sessions & parties. That is a lot to cram into a carry on! Gotta look good, but not like you are trying too hard. You know what I mean?
Well let’s focus on today…everyone have a safe & fun holiday!
Happy Fourth of July!!
