We unofficially said good bye to summer this week.
The seasons, even living in Southern California, have such a distinct feel to them.
No season feels like a Tuesday…all seasons have a clear strong feeling like Friday.
We had a wonderful summer, it was the one before high school & middle school ~ an on the cusp summer filled to the brim.
Since I am still harvesting tomatoes, I would love to whip up a big batch of gazpacho. Bummer nobody else in MSH likes cold soup.
“Gazpacho isn’t really soup”, I tell them. “It is salsa without the chips, sauce without the pasta”. They aren’t falling for it.
So I am making the gazpacho salad from Smiiten Kitchen. SK doesn’t like cold soup either. This how she gets around that. I think it will work here too.
Give this salad a try. The grapes are an interesting add.
Cause I like to make you smile, pop on over here.
Pinterst board of Interest this week is Sunflowers ( they make me smile) curated by Becky. Here is one of my favorites
Hope you enjoyed summer to it’s fullest.
What’s your favorite season?
