Decorations you can eat are great! Like my burlap wrapped eggs.
Imagine if at Christmas all the decorations we decked out our homes with could then be Christmas dinner.
Take down the wreath put it on a platter, grab the garlands for a side dish, pick ornaments off the tree for dessert. The time we’d save. Two for one DIYs ~ decorations & dinner!
Well, did you ever think Easter is kinda like that. Decorated eggs you can eat, baskets filled with treats you can eat…and today I have one more edible Easter decoration for you…flowers!
These perfectly lovely sugary blooms & the ‘how to’ are brought to us by Tanya of Lovely Greens. Go visit Tanya for the easy peasy tutorial ~ there is even a video.
Before you zip off to learn to make edible Easter decor, let’s take a second… Don’t you just LOVE the www? Without it would I, you, know about Tanya preserving these little beauties on the Isle of Man? I daresay, unlikely.
I came across her. I am sharing with you. Maybe she will share with her readers something from here. Just all good – real good, don’t you agree?
Another real good thing on the web is BeBetsy.com Do you know it?
BeBetsy is a curated on line magazine run by Denise & Sharon. (have to ask, who is Betsy …?) It is brimming with creative people sharing projects, recipes, fashion, beauty tips & more.
Guess what was featured on there this week? My whole orange bundt cake. Many thanks to Denise, Sharon and Betsy!
I like what these ladies are doing (would even if they didn’t feature me, I swear). Take a look ~ I think you will too. If you are a blogger submit your recipes & creations and start your own BeBetsy gallery.
Kinda freaky that I was planning on featuring Stephanie’s board & today when I popped over to her blog to get the links, I saw that Pinterest had featured her on their blog. Wow! Congrats Stephanie & hey, what can I say, I know a great Pinner when I see one!
This week I had, what I call the ‘functional flu’. You feel pretty bad, but not flat on your back in bed bad. Just bad enough, yet, not bad enough.
You know what I mean. Still had to pick up, drop off, go here & there. Being not totally on my game, it was nice to sit back & have someone else do the driving.
Hope you had a great week & that your best friend is always there when you need ’em!
