Do you sense it?
The air is a bit warmer, the sun a touch stronger & the days a tad longer as we inch toward Spring!
Spring fever set in as I scrolled through all the posts in our link party. Being a gardener this one from Faded Charm caught my eye. The heather is so vibrant.
Clicking through the Spring posts is such a treat with your morning cup of warmth. Treat yourself to some time well spent.
This Easter craft I am most certainly doing with my girls. Visit Confessions of a Plate Addict to get the full instructions. But I have tell you, these are made with paper napkins!
If you visit Stone Gable’s link I bet you will agree these are the most beautiful cookies you have ever ever seen.
Today Emmett & I were out for a run. The scent of orange blossoms filled the air. That is what early Spring smells like here.
I wish my blog was scented…scratch and sniff. I want to share that smell with you.
The closest thing to what I breathed in today that you can get your nose around is the scent of a Jo Malone orange blossom candle. Have you ever smelled one?
I remember the first time I walked into her signature shop in London. The scents, the look – so fresh. Spent a solid hour sniffing about while the rain poured down.
While we do have orange blossoms here, we do not have peonies. Peonies being one of my all time favorite flowers. I do miss them so. I had a garden full when we lived in Southampton NY.
Peonies don’t grow here because it doesn’t get cold enough. (I know you feel really sorry for me after the winter so many of you have suffered through.) But don’t feel too badly for me. I have my Pinterest Peony board, and….
I think I found a peony that will blossom in my garden! And yours too, if you live where you don’t get a cold snap. Visit here to see the gorgeous peonies that grow well in warmer climates.
Like what you see? Follow my Pinterest Peony Board. I would love that!
What is the first sign of Spring by you?
