Fall is the season my house shines the brightest…
It is a cozy house, built in 1935 of brick & stone. It has a few fireplaces and lots of places to get comfortable.
I love having you all over, especially this time of year, so I was very pleased to be included this wonderful Fall tour.
I have officially fallen for little white pumpkins.
Loving orange as I do, I was slow to embrace these pale orbs, but now I can’t get enough of them.
I like them in a neutral setting, but especially like them mixed in with more traditional Fall colors.
This grouping has replaced the chair near our front door.
I think it looks fabulous. I am sure PW does too, except when he is searching for a spot to sit and put on his shoes!
No place to sit on the other side of the entry now either. Remember this picnic basket from the summer?
The bird found a spot to perch, PW not so lucky!
Anyway, I LOVE the barn/car painting I have tucked in with the pumpkins. ( $10 at an estate sale )
Love it as I do, I am not sure which spot I like it in better. Here it is in the breakfast room on a table covered with a burlap cloth.
Which spot do you like it in better? (I ask the most probing questions!…haha)
While you think about your answer, we’ll move on to the dining room.
I’m calling it, Fall farmhouse glam. The vase got coated in gold, white pumpkins replaced some candles and last year’s $ store spray painted gourds make an appearance strewn over my favorite runner.
I got the runner at this vintage show. It is 90″ of nubby goodness with subtle persimmon lines down the center.
Those lines were probably originally red, now faded to a perfect shade for Fall.
I’d like to say we saved the best for last, but let me tell you what has come before is the very BEST too. Pop over to the other homes for a visit and enjoy their Fall home tour. The links are below.
You will be inspired & delighted by what you see.
I know I was!
So what do you think of white pumpkins?
