A Simple Fall Wreath ~ an honor and feathers
What an honor I recently received!
An invitation to contribute to P. Allen Smith's e-Magazine "Naturally".
Naturally, I was thrilled.
Come on in and I'll tell you the rest...
Of course I said yes immediately - then thought...YIKES this wreath needs to be fabulous!!!
To me feathers & fabulous not only start with the same letter, they are inextricably linked. I mean really, when are feathers not fabulous? Think Peacock...
So with feathers on my mind and the instructions to make the wreath "simple and natural".
Simple - natural and fabulous ~ definitely feathers!
So I set out and found some feathers HERE...
Then dove into my stash for some of THIS...
Bought two of THESE - two is the key,
...and began to design this "simple, natural" and fabulous wreath.
The feathers became feather flowers & needed a center. Craspedia or drum stick flower answered the call.
