Farmhouse Tour - She Holds Dearly

I met the loveliest person because I got wrapped up in her laundry line...

She posted this picture on Instagram and one thing led to another and now we are friends.

Friends ~ both lovers of all things home & old farmhouse-y, moms and bloggers.  You might say we are homies!

Sarah is a trained designer having graduated from London's Guildhall University with a degree in Interior Design.

It is her training coupled with her perspective on interior design that gives her home such appeal.  To Sarah, interior design is deeper than just the stuff of decorating.

Pillows, finishes & vignettes aside, Sarah believes it is important to make home a refuge to escape the storms in life. That home decor doesn’t have to be expensive ~ simple and heartfelt can be enough.  I couldn't agree more.

For more on Sarah and her blog read this.  You'll get all wrapped up too.

The story of finding her farmhouse is a delight isn't it?

Let's have a look around...

Farmhouse Tour

Well start our farmhouse tour in the "fireside room" because even the name evokes Sarah's design sensibilities ~ gather round, be warmed & cozy.

Make our way to to the kitchen where Sarah worked some magic with her butcher block counters.

I love this pop of blue, don't you?

Let's go up stairs...a little creaky.  A perfect farmhouse sound.

Sarah's bathrooms are newly remodeled, yet evoke a bygone day.

On to the master bedroom.  Go ahead peek in she knew we are coming!  I love that little pillow ~ almost looks like a vintage handbag.

Now for Sarah's favorite spot in her house...

Ahhh... a refuge for sure, every nook & cranny welcoming you home.

As self described, Sarah is a wife, mother, survivor & believer.  I am going to add one more thing...oh, make it two...friend and fabulous blogger.

I am honored to call Sarah friend & enjoy her posts tremendously.  I know you will too.
