Five Fall Ideas & Projects
The sand has been shaken out, the back packs ordered and, so we turn to another season. Fall, the season my house loves the best.
Sharing 5 of my favorite fall ideas and projects to jump start this colorful season.To add fall subtly to your house now pick up a few white mini pumpkins and create an early fall vignette. Click for the tutorial.
If real pumpkins aren't available yet, opt for craft pumpkins & spray paint a creamy white.
For the smell & taste of fall, bake my cinnamon apple cake. Dense with the taste of the orchard and so pretty with a sprig of rosemary & acorns encircling on the plate.
The ginkgo trees in front of my house will be changing this season and so will be the look of my front porch.
I love stacking pumpkins, real & faux. Get the same look with cinderellas, medium round orange sugar babies and spray painted faux 'kins from the Dollar Store.
Whether it is just us four for holiday meals, or if we have guests, I always love to create a special place card.

Fall is the best time of year to divide the plants in your garden. Unlike most acts of dividing, when you divide in your garden you get more. 
So get to it this season & grow your garden quickly.Fall starts the season of thanks. The upcoming holidays tend to have us counting our blessings more so than other times of the year.
That being the case, you might like to create a Thankful Box for your family.It is a keepsake box, which holds words of gratitude throughout the years. We started this tradition several years ago & look forward to it each Thanksgiving meal.
