Meg, of Hello Farmhouse, put into three words what she, I, we  feel about our houses.  

We are loving, honoring & respecting our old houses back to life.

Meg & I met on Instagram.  I couldn't follow her feed fast enough.  Another person bringing back to life a lovely old home!!

Delving into Hello Farmhouse ~ the blog revealed that Meg is as nutty about interested in old houses as I am.

Today I want to share with you my friend, & fellow old house renovator, Meg of Hello Farmhouse.

When seeing our houses for the first time Meg & both fell in love.

We are both striving to honor the history and keep the character intact as we make these old beauties our homes.

Deserving the respect reserved for elders, we endeavor to give our homes the proper care they need to carry on long after we are gone.

another similarity between us. That Meg's stewardship of her old house has enriched her life in unexpected ways too.  

Such as, Meg's relationship with the granddaughter of the original builder. ( built 1890s )

Meg wrote her a letter and a friendship blossomed.  

Visiting on a few delightful days, Meg has been treated to stories and photos of, not only daily life in the house when it was a working farm, but, can you imagine this...

photos of the lady's wedding reception in the living room! Gives me goosebumps ~ in a good way! 

I love every inch of Meg's home inside & out! Perfect tree ~ perfect swing!

Meg's white farmhouse is an utter delight!

I am so so happy to have met her on IG so I could then share with you the beauty she is bringing back to life.
