How to Create a Beautiful & Affordable Tablescape
There has been a lot of talk about what "sparks joy" these days.
Belongings that makes us happy, comfortable ... joyful.
As far as home decor goes, the pieces that spark joy for me are those that help to bring my family together.
Today I am sharing beautiful pieces that do just that from the Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart collection.
(click the bolded name or the list at the end of the post to see each item)
Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart has provided me with the products to share with you & compensation for doing so.
My crew is super busy ~ even on the weekends.
Gathering the 4 of us and the doggies together on Sunday for brunch is a perfect way to spend time and catch up.
The food isn't fancy. But I make the setting beautiful.
Having a lovey table is a way to elevate the moment and emphasize that this time together is special.
Using the tabletop & other decor offered by Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart makes creating a beautiful table easy & affordable.
For this table, which we literally just sat at and enjoyed an hour or so together, I used dishes, placemats, glasses & more from Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart.

Let's have a closer look ...
I love the placemats textured and fringed. The set of 4 comes in gray and red.
The dishes are white, in my opinion the best color for dishes, gently scalloped and really pretty.
This 16 piece dish set, includes dinner & salad plates, deep ceral/icecream bowls and nice sized mugs.
I arranged the mugs & bowls in the wooden tray I shared with you last month. See it HERE.
A bit a bling goes a long way, as seen with the gold honeycomb stemless glasses.
This set of 4 glasses are perfect for sparkling water, wine or any beverage.
We enjoy our weekly brunch in the kitchen so it is casual.
That being said, I like to make sure that the whole room looks lovely.
This way I can enjoy my efforts all week long after the brunch table is cleared.
The very large white porcelain pitcher from the Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart Collection is the perfect vase for flowers & looks lovely empty too.
Creamy white & hefty this pitcher mixes well with my ironstone collection.
Same for this versatile & pretty white porcelain footed bowl.
It is a generously sized bowl. Perfect for a salad during a meal and fruits throughout the week. It too, looks lovely full or empty on my counter.
From big to very small pitchers Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart has us covered.
This tiny white pitcher is perfect to use on the table, in vignettes or for individual floral arrangements.
At just over $2 each you could get one for each place setting!
Everyone can always use more storage in the kitchen. If you listen to my podcast, you know I am a proponent of cleverly using your pretty decor as storage.
This set of 4 good sized gray washed wicker baskets fit the bill. I keep my cloth napkins and napkin rings inside this one for easy access.
Lest, I forget the Better Homes and Gardens at Walmart item that really changed the feel of my kitchen for the better ...
the striped charcoal & white rug.
I LOVE the look & feel of this rug under my table.
It adds just the right pop and texture to all the white & hard surfaces. Edith digs it too!
Speaking of texture, the Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart chunky sweater pillows are the perfect touch.
These pillows come with the insert in off-white & dark gray.
The sweater pillow of shown here with the eyelash fringe check pillow I shared with you last month. See that post HERE.
Every room can benefit from a glow, so add a lantern and candle from Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart, like I did.
This black metal & glass lantern can work inside or on a covered porch/patio.
I am already thinking about how pretty mine with look with evergreens tucked inside & a red bow tied on top for the holidays.
Let's not forget a candle. An essential part of any meal at my house.
No tapers for brunch, but a delightfully scented glass faceted candle or two placed around the room. At $3 each get a few!
I am really enjoying exploring all that Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart has to offer us for our homes.
Several of you have joined me in adding these touches to your home. So many of you that I think we may have caused a sell out of the studded lampshade last month!
