We are Connected with a Line

True, it is a BIG world out there.

But we are all making it smaller, friendlier... a place to find kindred spirits wherever they live.

I whole heartedly disagree with anyone who says the internet is separating people.

On the contrary, for me, and those I have met on line, it is the great connector.

Which side of the line do you fall on...?

I could go on and on about the friendships I have been so fortunate to forge because of my on line life.

There are so many examples of how the internet has widened my circles & enhanced my life   ( yours too I bet... )

bHome- my app. bHome has connected me with bloggers and the community we built there.  A community inhabited by many of you.  If you aren't in the 'hive' get in there!

Decorating Tips & Tricks ~ the Podcast.  What started as a seed of an idea has blossomed into a ever growing community of loyal listeners whom we truly consider friends. Anyone who joins us for a 1/2 hour at the "table" is surely a friend.  DTT has strengthened friendships and allowed connections the written word cannot.  We love when you call us!

Speaking of calling, the other day I spoke with a blogger I met when I first started my blog 4 years ago, Stephanie of Garden Therapy.

Garden Matters http://mysoulfulhome.com

There were so many things about Stephanie that resonated with me right off the bat.

For four years we have been on blog tours together, exchanged emails, but never spoke or saw each other in person.

What I thought would be a 1/2 hour chat, turned into an hour & 45 minute marathon conversation!  When we had to hang up it felt like 10 minutes had passed and there was still so much to say!

She lives in Canada, I in Southern California.  Off line life would never enabled our paths to crossed.  On line we are connected kindred spirits.

If you do not know Stephanie's blog go visit.  You will love it!

Aside from her blog, Stephanie has written several ebooks and a fantastic book you can hold in your hands.  It is called Garden Made.

Garden Matters http://mysoulfulhome.com

Garden Made is a book of substance, beauty & charm.  Gardening is intrinsic to Stephanie.  It helped her recover from a debilitating illness and now it is at the core of her life.  You can read about that chapter of Stephanie's life here

Garden Made is a book filled with garden inspiration and 40 wonderful DIY projects tied to the seasons.  I love this book and I know you will too.

You can get a copy of your own HERE.  It is such a beautiful the book.  A perfect Mother's Day gift for any gardener or creative soul.

Creating ~ Connecting ~ Sharing  - That is what we are all doing here together.

I am so glad our dots connected on this big beautiful 'line'.
