I really enjoy being on my porch and decorating it.

Lately, I have been introducing pops of color out there in a nod to the seasons.

For fall the pop was orange...and now red of course.

It was a lot of fun to collect bits of red & green from my stash and work it into the mix for my Christmas porch decor.

This basket of inexpensive drug store balls makes a big statement for a little price tag.

To keep these larger ornaments in place I used a bit of blue painters tape.  Now that I mention it, I bet you can see a line of blue peeking out!  Oops!

Speaking of 'peeking out' do you see a familiar face from my blog in this photo?

Emmett!  He loves to chill on the porch too, so was a bit put off that he had to stay inside for the photo shoot.

Christmas porch decor sleigh http://mysoulfulhome.com

My mom had this sleigh on her porch.  Honestly, I have no idea when or how it made its way across the country, but I am glad it did.

I just sprayed it with a fresh coat of flat black...and I was able to use the spray paint cap to prop up the little tree in the enamelware pot.

The gifts in the sleigh are just empty boxes wrapped in craft paper and tied with yarn, boxwood and little cable knit hearts.

Can't have an empty sleigh, but can have empty boxes in a sleigh.

Here is another gift tucked in next to the door.  I bet my girls shake these to see if there is anything inside!

Well there aren't gifts in those boxes, but there is a gift for you on this tour.
